I joined Kerry for the grand opening of its new coffee extraction facility in Bethlehem — the company’s first manufacturing site in Pennsylvania. It’s great to see companies like Kerry investing in the Lehigh Valley, expanding their operations, and helping strengthen our local economy. I was pleased to present a Congressional Certificate recognizing this milestone. Congratulations to the entire Kerry team on the opening of this new facility!

Since taking office, my office has helped return $20.7 million to constituents across the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos through federal casework and assistance. Whether it’s a delayed IRS refund, Social Security or veterans’ benefits, passport issues, or another problem with a federal agency, our constituent services team is here to help cut through the red tape and get people the answers and money they are owed. First responders always answer the call, no matter the time or place. During our event at Mack Trucks earlier this year with President Trump, a woman in the audience experienced a medical emergency. Fortunately, three volunteer firefighters from the Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Department were on hand to provide life-saving care. For 20 years, the Medical Home Project at Lehigh Valley Health Network has worked to improve health care for individuals with disabilities through patient-centered care, respectful communication, and better coordination of community resources. Zack from my team was glad to join @LVHN to recognize this important milestone and present a Congressional Certificate celebrating two decades of service to our community.
