I’m deeply grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and law enforcement officers working tirelessly around the clock to contain the wildfires across Minnesota and protect our communities. Their courage and dedication during this challenging time are truly appreciated.
My office is closely monitoring the wildfires near Two Harbors, Babbitt, and Gilbert. If you live in or near these areas, please remain alert, follow local guidance, and take all necessary precautions to stay safe. I also encourage residents to download the Watch Duty app for timely updates. My prayers are with the affected communities and the brave personnel responding to these fires.
Bob Lessard is a giant in the fight for our outdoor heritage and industry. It was a privilege to recognize "The Old Trapper" on the House Floor for his 95th birthday. His dedication to mining, timber, and the responsible management of our natural resources has left an mark on our region that will last for generations.
As a former law enforcement officer, I will always back the blue and ensure our officers have the resources they need to protect and serve. My time in uniform may be over, but my watch will never end. https://t.co/Pcr4MIdlrh
The fraud occurring in Minnesota is a direct result of failed leadership from Tim Walz and Keith Ellison. I was grateful to join John Solomon and Amanda Head on "Just the News" to highlight how Minnesota’s Democrat leaders turned a blind eye to blatant corruption. https://t.co/jwaDIZO79z
I’ll be hosting another telephone town hall tonight! Please join to ask me questions directly and hear my thoughts on the most pressing issues facing our state and nation. https://t.co/lNFfBFnxy4
This National Police Week, I had the privilege of joining Speaker Johnson and members of law enforcement at the National Law Enforcement Memorial for a wreath-laying ceremony honoring the brave officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. We will never forget their courage, service, and sacrifice.

It's been a year since the start of the wildfires that impacted our Northland. We owe a debt of gratitude to the courageous first responders who stood on the front lines to protect our homes and neighbors. We must continue to advocate for proactive, common-sense forest management so we can prevent the threat of catastrophic wildfire.
