This National Police Week, I was honored to welcome the San Bernardino County Police Department and Ontario Police Department. Their work keeps our communities safe every day. I’m grateful for their service, sacrifice, and continued commitment to protecting our communities. https://t.co/C5dvdk5pBr
The American justice system is not for sale. Reports that DOJ may drop fraud charges against a billionaire with powerful political ties raise serious concerns about who justice serves. We cannot allow fairness to be traded to the highest bidder.
Proud to join the bipartisan U.S.-Mexico Caucus to strengthen cooperation between the United States and Mexico. From trade and security to economic opportunity, this partnership impacts millions every day. At a time of growing tensions, we must build bridges, not barriers. https://t.co/mVIrX0HS4k

It is an affront to the American families who have lost loved ones to the drug crisis. While our communities struggle, federal agencies under the Trump administration utilized taxpayer funds to provide a convicted narco-trafficker with a specialized tactical escort to a luxury hotel. My amendment is simple: No more preferential treatment for traffickers. No more luxury stays. No more shielding criminals from justice.
