Donald Trump says he doesn’t even think about Americans’ financial situation — while we’re paying over $4.50 a gallon for gas. Trump and Republicans have the wrong priorities. Americans need relief. We need to bring down gas prices. https://t.co/Ix8wb4i4o6
Primary care doctors are often our first line of defense against Alzheimer’s, but many feel underprepared to provide a diagnosis. The AADAPT Act, which I co-lead with @RepBalderson, reauthorizes a program so more primary care doctors receive more specialized training to improve access to care for diseases like Alzheimer’s. I’ll continue to fight for federal dollars and policies to support Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
You agreed with a blatantly racist comment about Leader @RepJeffries as you celebrated a decision that goes against what the people of Virginia voted for. The comment was disgusting and it’s sad that you refuse to own up and apologize for agreeing with it. Virginia deserves better - you need to go.
He shouldn’t have started a war that was going to skyrocket gas prices. But people need relief so end the war and stop the gas tax for now.
Our men and women of labor put in long days to earn a living — only now, their dollars don’t go as far. Trump and Republicans’ policies continue to squeeze them at home. In #Lynwood, I sat down with union members who told me their wages can’t keep up with the rising cost of living, and that they’re worried they’ll lose their hard-earned workplace protections. @HouseDemocrats stand with our workers, and we’ll fight for their right to a fair wage, fair benefits, and fair prices.
Today, we celebrate the women who have raised us, inspired us, and shaped us into who we are today. Happy Mother’s Day! https://t.co/yX1wpfEubA
Back at Eisner Health Center in Lynwood to hear how their expanded services are going after I secured federal funding to make this happen! With its newly expanded services in telehealth, mental health, optometry, and other areas, they’ll be able to serve even more #Lynwood residents. @HouseDemocrats will keep fighting for your right to accessible health care.
Hundreds of local residents joined our Community Conversation last night to hear the latest from DC and share how Trump and Republicans’ selfish policies have made life harder. I hear you — and I’m taking your stories and concerns back to Washington as @HouseDemocrats are ready to fight to make life better for ALL Americans.
Americans want lower costs for food, health care, and gas. Republicans want to hand Donald Trump $1 billion of YOUR MONEY for his golden ballroom. What a joke. Totally out of touch.
As costs go up, food banks like the @LAFoodBank are serving more families than ever. Spoke with CEO Michael Flood on how families depend on food banks as they try to cover other needs like rent. @HouseDemocrats will continue to fight to fund food assistance for Americans who need a helping hand.
