Today, I hosted my fourth in-person town hall of the year in Dutchess County. Thank you to everyone who took to attended, shared their thoughts, and asked important questions. https://t.co/CuHB10iZN5
Today we honor the life and legacy of Welles Remy Crowther, the “Man in the Red Bandana,” on what would have been his 49th birthday. On September 11, Welles showed extraordinary courage and selflessness, helping save over a dozen lives while putting others before himself. A proud son of Rockland County and a volunteer firefighter, his heroism continues to inspire people across our nation and reminds us of the very best of America. We will always remember his sacrifice and the example he set for all of us. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Welles.
Today marked a special and meaningful moment as JCC Rockland was officially renamed the Bobbi and Barry Lewis Jewish Community Center — a powerful tribute to a family whose generosity, leadership, and vision have shaped our community for generations. Their unwavering commitment to service and dedication to strengthening the Jewish community will leave a lasting impact for years to come.
Today was a beautiful day for the United Hospice Walk to Remember — a special opportunity to come together as a community to honor and remember loved ones who will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who participated and to United Hospice for the incredible care, compassion, and support they provide to families each and every day.
It is always an honor to attend the Rockland County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony in New City and pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to protecting our communities will never be forgotten. We must stand with and support law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our families safe. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to these heroes and to the families who stand beside them in service and sacrifice.
The Clarkstown Police Department’s Annual Recognition and Awards Ceremony was an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary bravery, courage, and dedication of so many outstanding officers. Every day, these men and women put themselves on the line to protect our communities and keep our families safe. Congratulations to all of the officers honored for their exceptional service and commitment to Clarkstown and Rockland County.
Affordability is my top priority and number one focus. This is why we are looking at things like a suspension of the gas tax and getting permitting reform done so we can continue to increase domestic production of energy. https://t.co/bfMw43SKMr
Thank you to the Port Authority PBA for stopping by this week to discuss how we can better support our law enforcement officers. Grateful for the firsthand insights; it was a meaningful way to close out National Police Week. https://t.co/GK91URHe8z

As AI becomes more prevalent in our everyday lives, it can have a profound impact on our elections and election integrity. We have already seen how social media has impacted our elections, and we have to make sure that if AI is providing information, it should, in fact, be unbiased and rooted in fact and truth.
