We all need to be talking about Trump’s proposed $1.5 trillion war budget! At a time when families are paying more to put food on the table, gas in the car, and get the healthcare they deserve, this budget proposal is a giveaway to defense contractors at the expense of the American people.
Today, I voted YES on the latest War Powers Resolution to end Trump's illegal war in Iran. The Constitution is clear: only Congress has the power to declare war. Unfortunately, not enough House Republicans voted for this and it failed. The American people are tired of presidents abusing their power by spending billions of our taxpayer dollars on unnecessary wars.
