Washington corruption has plagued our country for far too long. ZERO. That's how many individual stocks I own. ZERO. That's how many individual stocks my husband owns. Americans deserve to know their leaders are working for them, not their stock portfolios. That's why I helped lead and pass the Stop Insider Trading Act to ban Members of Congress from trading individual stocks, and why I introduced H.R. 10450, the REVEAL Act, to extend that ban to the President, cabinet officials, senior staff, and Supreme Court Justices.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Mellinger Memorial Library in Morning Sun is preserving a piece of Iowa history while opening new doors for the next generation. From exploring America’s National Parks to designing with a 3D printer, kids are learning, creating, and discovering. Proud to support this historic community treasure!
Today, I met with the Alzheimer’s Association to discuss efforts to improve early detection, expand access to diagnosis, and advance Alzheimer’s and dementia research. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer is increasingly affecting younger women, making education, prevention, and access to screening and resources more important than ever. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s continue raising awareness and promoting informed health decisions. Screening saves lives.
🚨It’s official: my Billion Dollar Boondoggle Act is now LAW! For too long, waste, fraud, and abuse have been hidden from taxpayers. @SenJoniErnst and I fought to change that. https://t.co/x7ikqcdJv5
