#TX07 is home to Houston's LGBTQI+ community, and I'm proud to represent everyone in it. As a Vice Chair of the @EqualityCaucus, I am determined to work with my colleagues to ensure equality for all Americans and to end discrimination. #IDAHOBIT https://t.co/s2Is3ofMza
It's that time of year again when we say farewell and thank you to our spring interns in Washington and Houston. Our 2026 interns have been extraordinary—thank you for all your efforts to help our neighbors across #TX07! https://t.co/GOkwdH7gwj
Freedom isn't free. Over our country's nearly 250 years, millions have served in our armed forces to protect our democracy, our rights, and our freedoms. On this #ArmedForcesDay, we are forever grateful to those who committed their lives to the cause of democracy. https://t.co/tA3ybyMunS
Dr. Hotez's work in global health represents the best of our community. Although he predicts that the hantavirus outbreak won't be a cause for worry, it serves as a reminder that the U.S. is not prepared for a fast-spreading pandemic. The CDC is our first line of response for disease outbreaks. Congressional Republicans' attacks on our public health system, including critical employees, will cost lives. https://t.co/2d6uvnR6v3
This is alarming news for our trans neighbors: the Trump administration—out of an office in Texas—has demanded information on patients who have received gender-affirming care and their doctors in New York. Weaponizing private healthcare information is not just an attack on trans people, it is an attack on every American who depends on patient-provider privacy. https://t.co/ToWzORTsSe

Presidents shouldn't personally profit from their time in office, and until now, presidents have taken the Constitution at its word regarding emoluments. I joined @RepRaskin, @RepRobertGarcia, and @RepJoeMorelle as a co-sponsor of the Protecting Our Democracy Act to further define the law and close loopholes that have allowed the Trump family to profit from public service—while Americans pay the price.
