Armed Forces Day means something special in Michigan. From Macomb County to every small town across the Thumb, our communities are filled with brave men and women who have served. To every service member and military family in my district and across this country: thank you for everything you do. You make me proud to be an American every single day. 🇺🇸
Last night’s Congressional Art Competition at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron was our biggest show ever. Over 450 submissions from 32 high schools, and a packed house of students, parents, and community members celebrating the incredible young artists of Michigan’s 9th District. Congratulations to every category winner, and especially to Best-in-Show winner Jules Wells from Armada High School. Jules’s winning piece will hang in the Capitol!

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we honor every law enforcement officer who made the ultimate sacrifice, including Deputy Bradley Reckling, a hometown hero from Romeo. Deputy Reckling gave his life protecting Michigan families, and his courage will never be forgotten. We pray for his family, his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, and every family carrying the weight of that sacrifice.
Remember this as Democrats try to convince you that they've moderated since their peak insanity era. The era isn't over. It never ended.
Happy Birthday, @SusieWiles! Susie is a trailblazer, a fighter, and one of the sharpest minds in politics. Wishing her a wonderful birthday and a great year ahead. https://t.co/MmQ1mtd1ja
China took advantage of America for far too long. President Trump is changing that. He's negotiating from strength, standing up for our workers, and making sure the next trade deal puts Americans first. Trust Trump! 💪🇺🇸 https://t.co/NF3s9TJhUd
Great news, Oakland County! Water is flowing, ahead of schedule. That's what happens when first responders, volunteers, and maintenance crews refuse to clock out until the job is done. The boil advisory remains through the weekend, but the hardest part is behind us. Thank you to every crew member who worked around the clock.
Deputy Bradley Reckling gave his life serving the people of Michigan. He left behind a wife and four children, including a baby he never got to meet. This Police Week, we remember him. And we stand with the brave men and women of @OaklandSheriff who carry his memory forward. https://t.co/cdEwwkxXAd
Democrats wanted to DEFUND the police. House Republicans and President Trump just gave them a RAISE, thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts! 🇺🇸 https://t.co/bKL4XkAyhM
