Because Trump's war with Iran has sent gas prices skyrocketing, every commute to work, school pickup, and grocery store run is getting more expensive. I stood with New Yorkers in Mattydale to demand Trump put working families first and end his reckless war. https://t.co/OUX3OJx12Z
New Yorkers are paying 50% more to fill up their gas tank thanks to Trump's reckless war in Iran. I was in Buffalo on Friday to demand that Trump end his war with Iran and lower costs for working New Yorkers. https://t.co/u6v39QQxIe
Thanks to the heroic actions of NYPD and law enforcement, this dangerous plot targeting Jewish New Yorkers was stopped. Antisemitism is a dangerous threat to our communities. All of us must stand against this hate in all its forms. https://t.co/d2ZJxjck6x
This #PoliceWeek, I was honored to meet with law enforcement from across New York State and share my work to support retention, boost recruitment efforts, and secure mental health care for the first responders that keep our communities safe. https://t.co/B9rARgNI3J
Trump is prioritizing his reckless war in Iran while working families struggle to buy gas and groceries at home. It’s time for Trump to end this war and put America first. https://t.co/TAaA18CBEJ
I spent some time at the Tops memorial this morning, laying flowers and praying for the ten neighbors we lost four years ago. Their absence is still felt deeply across Buffalo. My heart is with their families. https://t.co/PwEF3yh45h
Yesterday, I asked CENTCOM if they were investigating reports of additional damage to schools and hospitals by the United States in Iran. Admiral Cooper said they weren’t. The president is claiming they are. Someone is lying.
I stand with IFPTE Local 98. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers should have consulted with the union before making plans to relocate out of NYC. This move will vastly increase commute times for hundreds of workers and will force many to quit. I am urging the Corps to halt this move and reconsider its decision. https://t.co/rYMxSYsWYr
Beyond corrupt. We must ban stock trading for elected officials. If you can move markets, you shouldn’t be trading them.
Puerto Rico’s exclusion from SNAP has punished Puerto Ricans, ripping away essential nutrition benefits and billions of dollars in funding to the island. Republicans have shown little support for fixing nutrition assistance in Puerto Rico. I remained committed to fighting for it in the Farm Bill and making sure Puerto Ricans have the same benefits that are afforded to other Americans.
