I recently thanked our two fantastic district interns – Jesse and Liam – for their work on behalf of our constituents this spring. They have been a joy to have in the office, and will be dearly missed. Thank you both! https://t.co/Dl1ubGTl1f
I had a great tour of Columbia Valley Community Health’s new facility in Wenatchee, where we discussed the importance of their youth behavioral health program and supporting the mental health of kids in the area. https://t.co/OLNgkuhsNO
I recently stopped by the Enumclaw Fire Department to chat with first responders, hear about fire season preparations, and ask how my office can be supportive of their work to keep us all safe! Thank you! https://t.co/QUEEeLsra2
Here is this week’s Schrier Flyer! https://t.co/BZCVcc5Oyk
I continue to hear from small business owners and community members back home that retail crime has increased across #WA08, threatening public safety and our local economies. I am proud that my Combating Organized Retail Crime Act passed the House this week, which will strengthen tools for law enforcement and combat these crimes.
Tens of thousands of Washingtonians have lost their healthcare this year because Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress funded tax breaks for billionaires instead of healthcare coverage for Americans. I will keep fighting to expand healthcare and lower prices across the country. https://t.co/5yHieu1Qfn
During this #NationalPoliceWeek, I was proud to meet with the West Coast Law Enforcement Coalition group to talk about their work to improve public safety across #WA08. Thank you for all that you do. https://t.co/YeFmEognLM
Thank you to the Public School Employees of Washington group who stopped by my office to talk about how important early childhood education and school nutrition programs are for #WA08. Thanks for your advocacy for our students and teachers! https://t.co/Wvr0tVYcZb
Americans are being crushed by skyrocketing prices at the pump because of Trump's war with Iran. We need to act now to prevent Big Oil from raising prices even more, which is why I introduced the Lower Prices at the Pump Act to protect Americans from price gouging. Because our jobs are to make life easier, not harder, for Americans.
Important Update for #WA08: Washington residents who were impacted by last December’s storms have one month to apply for FEMA assistance! Apply for assistance online at https://t.co/vm7zrAMMlW or by calling 800-621-3362 by June 10, 2026. You can also find Disaster Assistance Centers near you at https://t.co/mEPlFr8ise
