Secured a commitment from @epaleezeldin to move forward with final approval for Minot’s former landfill redevelopment so the city can begin construction on a new outdoor recreation site for residents. We also discussed redevelopment opportunities at Fargo’s Mid-America Steel site and how the @EPA's Brownfields Program can help move the project forward.
On #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay, we honor the courage and sacrifice of law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. We remember their service and stand with their families and communities across North Dakota and the country. https://t.co/RVcsPKpLBH
This morning, I had the opportunity to host @NDNationalGuard members currently serving in D.C. for breakfast, along with @SenKevinCramer and @RepFedorchak. Grateful for their service and dedication to protecting our nation’s capital and keeping it safe. https://t.co/5vRt2IkADg
It was an honor meeting the @NASAArtemis II crew today and hearing about the important work ahead. Their dedication to pushing the boundaries of space exploration and leading America’s return to the Moon is a huge inspiration for people in our country and around the world. https://t.co/B8kC4b2AP5
During #NationalPoliceWeek, we recognize and thank North Dakota’s law enforcement officers for their service, professionalism, and commitment to public safety. https://t.co/Z48i86y5Ih
Joined Jon Scott on @FoxNews this weekend to discuss Iran, energy security, and the Strait of Hormuz. The only way to deal with Iran is through maximum pressure and strength. We also talked about energy and our efforts to Crack the Code 2.0 in North Dakota to produce more energy here at home because energy security is national security.
On #MothersDay, we honor the love, care, and strength of mothers in North Dakota and across the country. Your support and dedication shape our families and communities for generations to come. https://t.co/J3FwK0hnT3
Today we broke ground on a new terminal at Dickinson-Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport! The $55 million project will improve accessibility, passenger experience and connectivity for western North Dakota and help welcome visitors to @TRPresLibrary, opening on America’s 250th birthday this year!
By securing $36 million in federal funding for Crack the Code 2.0 from @ENERGY, we are taking a major step forward in partnering North Dakota’s oil and coal producers and strengthening the foundation for these essential industries. Enhanced Oil Recovery has the potential to double the oil recovery rate in formations like the Bakken and extend the life our coal-fired power plants, supporting continued reliable, affordable energy across the country.
With today’s Project Partnership Agreement, we are nearly finished delivering comprehensive flood protection for the Fargo-Moorhead region. The agreement implements my legislation – the 17th piece of legislation we’ve passed for this project – to transfer excess federal funding to @FMDiversion, starting with today’s $100 million payment, saving local taxpayers money. This first-in-the-nation P3 project has been a colossal task across multiple agencies and jurisdictions, and I appreciate all our partners for helping keep it on time and under budget.
