As we begin negotiating the Trump's $1.5 trillion budget request, it’s imperative that the Army, like all branches, has clear initiatives and defined goals. This Administration needs to get their act together before requesting more funding than it had during World War II. https://t.co/q3gl664pZz

Team Garamendi hit the road on two wheels this morning for #BikeToWorkDay! Proud of my staff for leading by example and showing how everyday choices like biking to work can support healthier communities and a healthier planet. Here’s to safer streets and cleaner air! https://t.co/SiBmXrda7N
For the third time, I voted to stop the war in Iran. And for the third time, Republicans stood in the way. I won’t stop pushing to end Trump’s war and the instability that’s sending gas prices soaring nationwide.
What's it like to be a Press Intern for a day in my office? From chatting with constituents on the phone to staffing interviews that get under Pete Hegseth's skin, every day is different as an intern on Capitol Hill. If you think you'd be a good fit to be an intern in my office you can apply here: https://t.co/33wSjeo9eE
The Supreme Court’s decision to gut the Voting Rights Act threatens not only Black voters, but the very foundation of democracy itself. When courts roll back protections against racial discrimination in voting, they create opportunities for discriminatory maps, voter suppression, and the silencing of entire communities. As the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg once warned: “Throwing out [voting rights] when it has worked and is continuing to work is like throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because you are not getting wet.”
Trump said the quiet part out loud when asked how he’s balancing the Iran war with rising gas prices: “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.” At least he’s finally being honest. Gas prices are soaring. Inflation just hit its highest level since 2023. Grocery costs continue to climb. And instead of focusing on the economic pain Americans are feeling every day, the President seems more interested in acting like a wannabe dictator.
Trump is directing his own DOJ to settle his case with the FBI for the tune of $10 billion. Are you not sick of the corruption yet? https://t.co/AVX6ZQXmWx
Americans are struggling to pay for healthcare, groceries, gas, and housing after Trump and Republicans’ cuts. Now Trump wants to blow $1.2 TRILLION on a “Golden Dome” with no clear details and no real plan. https://t.co/OY5YDMCNvU
