“Double it, and pass it to the taxpayers”
Trump’s war in Iran just pushed inflation to the HIGHEST level in three years. Today, we’ll hear every excuse in the book. Don’t believe his lies. Americans are paying more because of Trump’s decisions.
Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms, stepmoms, abuelas, and mother figures across Los Angeles! Thank you for everything you do! https://t.co/CQkc4PezhL
Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Here in Los Angeles, our strength comes from the rich cultures and communities that shape our city, from Koreatown and Chinatown to Historic Filipinotown, Little Tokyo, and Little Bangladesh. It’s an honor to represent such a diverse district in Congress. I’m committed to making sure every community is seen, heard, and has a seat at the table.
Trump’s handpicked Supreme Court Justices just rolled back key protections in the Voting Rights Act, one of our last lines of defense against racial discrimination in voting. After decades of progress, they’re trying to dismantle the very freedoms civil rights leaders fought so hard to secure. We must act to defend these protections by passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act immediately.
I just voted on a War Powers Resolution to force Trump to end the war in Iran. Republicans blocked it, AGAIN. This war has already cost $35 billion, money that could be going toward lowering costs and helping families. Republicans chose more spending & pain for working families.
Today is YomHaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. We mourn the six million Jews and countless others murdered during the Holocaust. At a time when antisemitism is on the rise, we honor their memory by recommitting to stand against hate in all its forms. https://t.co/nchovE72Y7

There is something deeply wrong with a President who sees himself as Jesus and thinks it is okay to attack the Pope. Trump is attacking the faith of more than a billion Catholics around the world. This is not the behavior of a stable person. https://t.co/V2FOFIeaNA
