On #ArmedForcesDay, we honor the brave men and women serving in all six branches of our Armed Forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to defending our nation help protect the freedoms and liberties we hold dear. Today, and every day, we thank them for their service and dedication to our national security.
This week I was proud to support the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations bill, which includes key investments to support our veterans, servicemembers, and military families. The bill invests $138.2 billion in veterans’ health care programs, $54.6 billion for veterans impacted by toxic exposure under the PACT Act, provides $3.8 billion for veteran homelessness assistance programs, and an estimated $12 billion for homeless veterans’ treatment and support services.
On this #NationalMilitaryAppreciationMonth, we honor and recognize the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, including our veterans, active duty servicemembers, and their families. To all those who have served and continue to serve our nation, we thank you for your courage, commitment, and sacrifice—not only this month, but every month.
It was an honor to welcome @WesternGrowers to our nation’s capital and recognize their 100th anniversary with a Congressional Recognition. Western Growers has been instrumental in representing the growers who feed America and drive our agricultural economy forward. Their leadership and advocacy have strengthened farming communities, supported innovation in agriculture, and ensured the voices of growers are heard in Washington. Congratulations on 100 years of service, leadership, and dedication to America’s agricultural industry!

This week marks #NationalPoliceWeek, a time to honor the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and our nation. As we continue through this week, we remember those who gave their lives protecting others, and we also recognize the officers across our Valley and nation who continue to serve every day with courage and dedication.
Today, I had the honor of returning to my alma mater, SJM, to recognize and celebrate Coach Roznovsky and the boys’ basketball team for their incredible achievement—winning the CIF Division II State Championship. Their hard work, discipline, and teamwork have brought tremendous pride to the entire school community. Congratulations on an outstanding season and a well-earned championship!
