They swear they care about “waste, fraud, and abuse” — meanwhile Trump is trying to turn $1.7 BILLION in taxpayer money into a MAGA slush fund for his loyalists. J6 rioters and people accused of crimes like assaulting police officers and lying to Congress could get rewarded while working families — struggling to put food on the table, fill up their gas tanks, and make ends meet — foot the bill. This is corruption in broad daylight.

The American people are watching the courts abandon precedent, ignore the Constitution, and bend over backwards to give Donald Trump whatever he wants. Every ruling like this further erodes people’s faith in institutions that are supposed to be independent, credible, and grounded in the law.

It quite literally couldn’t be clearer that this man does not care about you. “Not even a little bit” — his words, not mine. Working families are struggling to pay for groceries, keep the lights on, and fill up their gas tanks…and he couldn’t care less. You deserve better.

Referring to the highest-ranking Democrat in the House — who is also a Black man — using white supremacist, slavery-era language is NOT acceptable. Full stop. The lows this Congress continues to sink to are historic. Some people are determined to try and drag us backwards through both their rhetoric and legislation, but the reality is WE ARE NOT GOING. If folks actually knew their history, they’d remember the Confederates lost — and will keep losing.

This should not be a partisan issue — but Republicans have made it one. This is the same party that claims to stand for law and order, transparency, and protecting women and girls. But they couldn’t even be bothered to show up and hear directly from Epstein survivors. Their complicity is loud — but their absence was even louder. To every survivor: thank you for continuing to speak out. Our systems have failed you but we hear you, we believe you, and we will keep fighting until you get the justice you deserve.

Over 3 million Virginians spoke loud and clear in a free and fair election — and now, because MAGA Republicans didn’t like the outcome, the Virginia Supreme Court struck down the results of the election. Let’s call this what it is: voter suppression. They keep losing when people actually vote, so instead of changing their policies, they keep trying to silence the voices of the people. The power belongs to the people — and every attempt to silence voters only exposes how afraid they are of the people’s voice.

Let’s not ignore the timing here. This raid comes just weeks after Virginia voters rejected Trump-backed efforts to rig the midterms, and it is not the first time Trump and his allies have openly targeted Black women they view as political opponents — including New York Attorney General Letitia James, Lisa Cook, and Congresswoman LaMonica McIver.   Americans are tired of watching y’all play political games just to generate headlines while the actual attacks on democracy keep getting ignored. Where’s this energy for the states that have spent years suppressing voters, rigging maps, and silencing Black communities?
