Trump sued his own government for $10B. He's “settled” for a $1.7B “weaponization” fund that will compensate allies who were convicted for crimes during the Biden administration. Yes, that’s right: Your tax money could be used to pay January 6 insurrectionists.
Trump launches tariffs➡️prices increase, companies get refunds Trump embraces big AI companies➡️energy prices increase, corporations benefit Trump attacks Iran➡️gas prices increase, oil companies benefit When is Trump going to do something that benefits the American people?
Trump is more focused on building a ballroom for Washington elites than building affordable housing for everyday Americans, who are struggling mightily to pay their rent and mortgages. In fact, Trump’s budget would cut spending for affordable housing programs while he asks Congress to fund his ballroom.
Trump promised to bring down the cost of living. But today, as Trump focuses on his Iran War, his ballroom, his "Arc de Trump", and putting his face on passports, 77% of Americans say the president’s policies have increased their cost of living. Trump is not interested in helping everyday people. He’s interested in helping himself. https://t.co/IkuilnYw0r
After two months of war, more than $29 billion in taxpayer money spent, American troops killed, and thousands of civilians dead, Iran has regained much of its key military capabilities. Iran controls the strait of Hormuz—something they didn’t control before Trump’s war—and the prices Americans are paying for everyday goods are soaring. What a disaster.
The Trump administration Justice Department is working to settle a $10,000,000,000 lawsuit Donald Trump launched against his own administration. The outcome could mean billions in taxpayer money going to Trump or special IRS treatment for Trump, his family, and his businesses. Trump is raiding the government for your tax dollars right out in the open.
RT @atrupar: HUD SECRETARY SCOTT TURNER: We can't just house people CLYBURN: How do you house them if you take all the money away? TURNER…
Trump wants you to think raging a senseless war and paying higher prices is what it takes for Iran not to have a nuclear weapon. Not true. The 2015 deal Obama negotiated prevented Iran from having a nuclear weapon, and there was no spike in prices then. But Trump tore up that deal and now Iran’s nuclear program is less contained today than it was under the 2015 deal.
Trump’s proposed budget cuts $10.7 billion from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The programs on the chopping block help build affordable housing, help families pay rent, and invest in local infrastructure projects. But the Trump administration thinks these programs aren’t necessary. I had some questions for Secretary Turner today.
Costs are exploding due to Trump’s war with Iran. Inflation is higher now than when Trump took office. Nearly every category of goods is rising, many by a lot. What are Trump and Republicans doing about it? https://t.co/77g6JGgrMt https://t.co/dYRrQa7CjW
