I was proud to carry on the tradition that the late great Congressman, and my friend, Donald Payne Jr. started by hosting the Build America Roundtable. It was inspiring to be a part of this gathering of transportation experts from around the country who are all committed to building on what our predecessors left us to strengthen our infrastructure and build opportunity for everyone.
It was an honor to meet with @MYAPLANET9 and @SoundExchange to discuss legislation affecting compensation for artists and creators. Artists deserve to be compensated for their contributions to our country and culture, I am committed to making sure that this issue is a priority in Congress.
No matter what goes on in Washington, I'm committed to taking care of home first. Yesterday, over 100+ #GA04 residents came through Chamblee City Hall to apply for and renew passports directly with the Department of State at our Passport Pop-Up! See you at the next one? https://t.co/Z3Jn2NGmnp
We are going to take MAGA’s foot off of the neck of our democracy. We won’t slow down, you’re not going to drive us off, you’re not going to kick us out. We’re going to be here. This is our country, and we are going to live in it together, like it or not. https://t.co/p3f4SdC3KT

Ted Turner was a bold, courageous and visionary business leader who dared to dream big when others thought it couldn't be done. He built the nation's first 24 hour news network, won the America's Cup, and took the Braves from Worst to First! He also distinguished himself as a major environmentalist and a notable philanthropist. Life well lived. Job well done. RIP.
Gas. Groceries. Rent. Childcare. Healthcare. Costs keep rising, and families are paying the price. Tomorrow night, join me for “The Cost of Chaos: Get Your Hands Out of My Pockets!” — a virtual town hall on affordability. Thursday, May 7 | 7PM ET Register: https://t.co/N9zktvvFRk
Yesterday, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. Today, I am pushing my TERM Act, which would create term limits for Supreme Court Justices, and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. https://t.co/VxKRGt0efR
