What the hell was Governor Polis thinking when he commuted Tina Peters’ sentence? She was convicted by a jury of her peers on several criminal charges for interfering in the 2020 election, and her conviction was recently upheld in the Court of Appeals. This case was awaiting re-sentencing by the trial court and the Governor just simply cut off the judicial process. This is a gross perversion of justice and emboldens those who seek to undermine our free and fair election system. https://t.co/VPjVGatVSP
Republicans on my Health Subcommittee need to stop waiting for Donald Trump’s permission to do their job. We could be passing bills to lower health care costs, protect rural hospitals, and turbocharge American biomedical research. Unfortunately, this majority has only prioritized taking health care away from millions of Americans to line the pockets of the wealthy.
ICE is beyond reform. It’s time to dismantle and defund ICE. https://t.co/9M1U3lswKL
We have an acting CDC director. We have an acting FDA commissioner. And our HHS secretary is an anti-vax conspiracy theorist. Our nation’s public health leadership is non-existent, and Americans are suffering because of it.
Donald Trump doesn't care that you can't afford gas, groceries, and health care as long as he gets his war.
After increasing military spending to historic highs, Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth want nearly $500 billion more. Last year, Republicans claimed we didn't have enough money to extend ACA tax credits. Now, people are losing their health care because they can't afford premiums. We should be spending money on health care, not wars. https://t.co/1qyKSyQIwc
Donald Trump is panicking because his $1 billion-a-day war with Iran is costing Americans significantly more at the gas pump. While suspending the federal gas tax would provide some temporary relief to families suffering because of Trump’s reckless war, the best way to bring costs down permanently is to end the illegal war with Iran. Denverites want more affordable food, housing and health care—not more forever wars. https://t.co/MC3oHF47YO

Maybe the United States shouldn't have pulled out of the World Health Organization. https://t.co/qGJhwEwoiV
Under Donald Trump and RFK Jr.’s watch, this administration has replaced trusted career scientists and public health experts with anti-vax conspiracy theorists who spread fear about vaccines. Now it's being reported they are hiding studies that show vaccines are safe. Their war on public health is dangerous — Americans will die of preventable diseases if we lose faith in effective treatments.
