RT @krvn: E15 is closer than ever as @SenatorFischer tells our farm director @stevewhitenews she’ll keep fighting misconceptions about etha…
Happy National Beef Month from Nebraska, the Beef State! We are proud to represent every segment of the beef industry, from cow-calf producers and feed yards to processing facilities. This month, we celebrate all who keep this industry strong and help feed families across the country.
After years of fighting for year-round E15, I am encouraged to see the House finally approve this effort today. Though long overdue, this is a major step toward securing stability and certainty for American producers and consumers – without any government mandates. I commend my fellow Nebraskans, @RepAdrianSmith, @USRepMikeFlood, and @RepDonBacon for their hard work and persistence in getting this bill passed. I also thank @POTUS for his leadership on this issue; I will continue working to get a bill to his desk.
Compared to men, women are 73% more likely to be seriously injured and 17% more likely to die in car crashes. Glad to meet with Women Drive Too, who support my legislation requiring advanced crash testing devices – including a female crash test dummy. https://t.co/cECN67GkU6
Hear it from @epaleezeldin: No refinery has closed because consumers had the choice to purchase E15 year-round. Q: During these past 8 years, are you aware of any refiners that have closed because consumers had a choice to purchase E15 year-round? A: I am not aware of any refinery that closed because of that.
Hear it from @epaleezeldin: We’ve operated on year-round E15 for 8 years. Q: Is it also accurate that we have had year-round E15 through a patchwork of regulations since 2019-meaning this will be the 8th year we have had E15 year-round? A: That is accurate, since 2019, yes. https://t.co/w457FPRK5j
Hear it from @epaleezeldin: E15 is not a mandate. Q: Is my bill or the actions you have taken at EPA in any way a mandate for a gas station to sell or an American consumer to buy E15? A: No, Senator. https://t.co/Byd2u8FlOf
Congratulations to the Fillmore County 4-H STEAM Punks from Geneva for joining a record‑breaking field in the 2026 American Rocketry Challenge! These students are tomorrow’s engineers, scientists, and innovators. I could not be more proud of these young Nebraskans! #ARC2026
