It was great meeting with Dave, Matthew, and Leanne Klym from Crooked River Ranch during their visit to our Washington, D.C. office! I always appreciate the opportunity to hear directly from my constituents and discuss the important legislation that impacts our communities. https://t.co/zF1lbe59kf
I was proud to secure and include $80 million for Kingsley Field’s Academic Training Center in the Fiscal Year 2027 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs appropriations bill, which passed the House today. Kingsley Field plays a critical role in our nation’s defense and remains an essential economic driver for Southern Oregon. I look forward to continuing to support the 173rd Fighter Wing and the Klamath Falls community as preparations for the F-35 training mission move forward. https://t.co/lchnUzRaNX
Yesterday, I questioned @SecretaryBurgum during the House @NatResources Committee hearing on the FY27 Department of the Interior budget. We discussed the failures Oregon has faced from poor federal land management, wildfire risk, and delayed permitting. I look forward to working with the Department of the Interior to support active forest management, responsible resource development, and policies that help rural Oregon.
🚨ICYMI: Democrats have spent years shutting down pipelines, locking up federal land, and restricting American energy production while families paid the price at the pump. Now, we finally have an administration focused on American energy independence, cutting red tape, and putting U.S. energy production first. Reliable energy means a stronger economy, lower costs, and a stronger America. Watch my full interview below ⬇️

This National Police Week, I ask you to join me in thanking our law enforcement officers for all their efforts in keeping us and our communities safe. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/9aq38qsqtd
I joined KOBI Five on 5 with Joe Sullivan to discuss the issues impacting Southern and Central Oregon, including water scarcity in the Klamath Basin, forest management, rural economic challenges, the bipartisan Farm Bill, Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) coordination, and the future F-35 training mission coming to Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls. Last week, the House passed the Farm Bill, H.R. 7567. I was the only member of Oregon’s House delegation to vote YES. This bill strengthens support for farmers and ranchers, invests in wildfire mitigation and rural infrastructure, and delivers needed certainty for Oregon’s agricultural communities. https://t.co/OKXTZWyRGV
This week, I met with the Rainmaker Corporation out of Pendleton, to discuss their technology and how it can help increase snowfall during the November–April months. We walked through how the concept works and reviewed the results already being seen on the ground. https://t.co/jeEQpt5A0R
