“A vast political slush fund financed by taxpayers.” Each day brings a new level of corruption from the Trump Administration, all while the cost of gas, healthcare, and groceries skyrockets. They are in for a reckoning come November. https://t.co/bUJEyB8nG0
Republicans tried to make taxpayers foot the bill for Trump’s billion-dollar ballroom. Senate Democrats fought back — and blew up their first attempt. Now Ballroom Republicans say they’re going back to the drawing board to try again. And Senate Democrats will be ready to stop them again. Americans don’t want a ballroom. They don’t need a ballroom. And they sure as hell should not be forced to pay for one.
Another Trump foreign policy summit. Lots of red carpet. Lots of pomp. Nothing for the American people on tariffs, trade, fentanyl, Hormuz, the Iran war, or Ukraine. We know Trump’s incompetent in America. He’s equally so abroad. All he’s coming home with is being chastised by Xi about Taiwan. A complete and total embarrassment.
Broken promise after broken promise. https://t.co/wAqYr3MBVZ
The American people may not be benefiting from Trump’s war, but our adversaries certainly are. Trump is allowing China to present itself as a source of stability and reason on the world stage, and Russia is raking in record profits from its energy exports. We must end Trump’s illegal war as soon as possible.
Trump’s war has cost the American taxpayer AT LEAST $29 billion. The war in Iran has cost Americans financially, causing inflation to spiral out of control, gas prices to skyrocket, and grocery costs to climb.
Trump’s moving forward with his plan to sell AI chips to Chinese companies linked to the Chinese military. Giving China access to this premier US technology is dangerous and threatens our lead in the AI race that will shape the global economy for decades.
Trump must not sell out Taiwan, period.
The Trump administration has put working Americans in an untenable economic situation. If Ballroom Republicans won’t think about the suffering of the American people, then they better start thinking long and hard about their own political futures.
Today, my heart is with Buffalo as we mark four years since the horrific racist mass shooting that took place at a Tops Supermarket in 2022. Ten people were murdered. They were parents, grandparent, sons, and daughters that were out buying groceries, picking up medicine, working a shift, all that never got to come home. In its darkest hour, Buffalo lived up to its name of the City of Good Neighbors. Families who had every right to collapse under the weight of their grief found the strength to speak, to organize, and to demand change — helping pass the first major gun-safety law in more than a generation. May God bless the families. May God bless the survivors. And may God bless Buffalo — a city that, even in its deepest grief, showed America what it truly means to be the City of Good Neighbors. https://t.co/J6v2WRPB6n
