When politics becomes more about protecting safe seats than serving the country, the American people lose. This morning, I joined @margbrennan on @FaceTheNation with my @ProbSolveCaucus Co-Chair, @RepTomSuozzi, to talk about a better way forward: focusing like a laser on the cost of living, confronting a broken redistricting system that rewards division, and standing with Ukraine as it fights for freedom. Too much of Washington is designed to divide us. Our duty is bigger than the politics of the moment: to serve 100% of the people we represent, bring both parties to the table, and prove that common ground is still where real progress always begins. Watch our full discussion below ⬇️
RT @FaceTheNation: SUNDAY: We’ll be joined by Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) and Tom Suozzi (D-NY), the co-chairs of the bipartisan Problem…
What a wonderful afternoon in Yardley celebrating Eid with my friends at the Zubaida Foundation and so many neighbors from across our community. Since 2005, the Foundation has played an important role in our community, creating spaces for open dialogue, education, service, and fellowship across faiths and backgrounds. I’m grateful for their leadership, friendship, and our continued work together in support of a community where every neighbor is seen, respected, valued, and welcomed. Eid Mubarak!
What an honor to join @HolyFamilyU today at their Newtown Campus as over 600 graduates crossed the commencement stage and began their next chapter. This is more than a milestone for the university—it is a proud moment for our entire community. To the Class of 2026: be builders of hope, agents of change, and instruments of unity. Wherever your path leads, may you leave every place stronger, kinder, and more whole than you found it. Congratulations! We cannot wait to see all you will do.
Some heroes do not ask to be called heroes. They simply answer the call. Michael Grieco was just 17 years old when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1943. He went on to serve as a rifleman in the Pacific, fighting in some of World War II’s fiercest battles— Saipan, Tinian, and Okinawa. Today, at Mission BBQ in Warminster, we had the honor of celebrating Michael as he turns 100 years young. He is a living reminder of a generation that gave everything, asked for little, and carried America through history’s darkest hours. As America prepares to mark 250 years, today highlighted how our nation’s story is not written only in history books. It is written in the lives of great Americans like Michael Grieco—patriots whose courage, sacrifice, and love of country helped make our freedom possible. Please join me in thanking Michael for his extraordinary service and wishing this hometown hero a very Happy 100th! 🇺🇸
This afternoon at my alma mater, @ConwellEgan, we had the honor of adding a veterans plaque to the USAF Captain Scott Craven Memorial Wall—a tribute to a fallen hero and 1997 graduate of CEC. Two years ago, led by the incomparable Connie Whalen and the students of the @TMFoundation’s “Character Does Matter” program, this memorial wall was unveiled to ensure Captain Craven’s life, service, and sacrifice would never be forgotten. Scott was a bright student, gifted athlete, and young man of extraordinary promise. After graduating from CEC, he attended Valley Forge Military Academy, earned a nomination to the Air Force Academy, and went on to become a USAF pilot. In December 2003, while stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, Captain Craven tragically lost his life in an accident while serving our nation. Our community still feels his loss—I was humbled to be part of his memorial tribute then and honored to help add to it today and ensure l Captain Craven’s legacy continues to inspire and bring our community together. Thank you to Connie, the Washington Crossing National Cemetery Color Guard, and TMF for your continued partnership and leadership; and to the CEC students who carry forward the lesson at the heart of this memorial: character matters, service matters, and patriotic heroes will never forgotten.
The strength of America has always rested in the hearts of citizens willing to serve something greater than themselves. Last night, that spirit was on full display as we celebrated the @BensalemSchools Marine Corps JROTC Cadets—an extraordinary group of young men and women. These cadets represent the very best of our country: discipline, patriotism, humility, courage, and service before self. At school, across our community, alongside our veterans, and wherever they are needed, they step forward with purpose and pride. They remind us that love of country is not just spoken, but lived. Founded in the early 1970s, Bensalem’s Marine Corps JROTC has built a national reputation for developing strong, capable, service-driven young leaders, and last night showed exactly why. Congratulations to every honoree on this well-earned recognition, and best of luck to the seniors as you begin your next chapter. You have already made a difference, and we know you will continue to lead, serve, and make your community proud. Thank you to Colonel Dave Mills, USMC (Ret.), and Master Sergeant Shawn Worthen for your leadership, mentorship, and remarkable work fostering the next generation of American leaders from our community—Semper Fi!

Rising tuition costs are putting too much pressure on too many families across our community, and that is not acceptable. We should be working to ensure higher education should expand opportunity—not pricing them out of their own potential. Families across our community brought this concern to me, and in November, I took it directly to La Salle University President Dan Allen and Bucks County Community College President Patrick Jones with a clear goal: work together to make higher education more affordable for Bucks students, create a stronger pathway to a four-year degree, and connect more young people to the careers our region needs. Following that meeting and continued collaboration, I am thrilled to share a game-changing new partnership that does exactly that. Through this new agreement, Bucks students will have a seamless pathway from an associate degree at BCCC into bachelor’s and graduate programs at La Salle while saving nearly $114,000. Less debt. Lower costs. More opportunity. A stronger workforce. A clearer path to good-paying careers in high-demand industries. This is a major win for Bucks students, Bucks families, and the future of our regional economy. I am grateful to Presidents Allen and Jones for their leadership and partnership, and look forward to building on this work to expand affordable opportunity for even more students and families across our community.
