Today I was proud to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. This legislation is vital to supercharging innovation and preparing our economy for the 21st century. What the GENIUS Act is doing for the stablecoin ecosystem, CLARITY promises to do for all digital assets. While today marks an important milestone, the legislative work continues.
Congratulations to my friend Kevin Warsh on his confirmation. I’ve known Kevin for years and am confident he is the man for the moment to lead the Federal Reserve.
During National Police Week, we recognize the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. The Volunteer State is indebted to their heroism. https://t.co/d9h9AWP5ao
It was great to join students and local leaders at TCAT Oneida/Huntsville to discuss the importance of workforce development and skilled trades in Tennessee. Here, students are preparing for high-demand careers that will help power our state’s future. Tennessee continues to lead because of institutions like this and the hardworking students ready to lead the next generation of our workforce.
Happy Mother’s Day from my family to yours. https://t.co/r1yrjOh444
Another great stop in East Tennessee today meeting with folks in Campbell County. Rural Tennessee is a huge piece of what makes of our state so special, and I’m grateful for the warm welcome. https://t.co/wNYwU9Wecx
Great to be in Claiborne County this morning meeting with local elected officials, business leaders, The Trump Administration and Congress are working to ensure communities across Tennessee have a bright future ahead, and I was glad to provide an update on the work being done to strengthen our economy, support local priorities, and create new opportunities for Tennesseans.
It was an incredible privilege to welcome home a group of Middle Tennessee veterans of the Vietnam and Korean Wars returning from an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. In moments like these, you can truly see why Tennessee is known as the Volunteer State. We remain deeply grateful for their service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to preserving the freedoms enjoyed by generations that followed.
Spot on, @StephenM. That’s why I introduced the Equal Representation Act. Every one of the @SenateDems voted against it. Only American citizens should be counted in the census for the apportionment of congressional seats and the electoral college.
I applaud @JPN_PMO @takaichi_sanae’s important speech today in Vietnam on updating Japan’s approach to a Free and Open Indo-Pacific. In particular, I welcome Prime Minister Takaichi’s vision for Japan’s new proactive approach to cooperation on technological security, economic security, and national security with the United States and other partners. As Senator and former Ambassador to Japan, I am confident that the U.S.-Japan Alliance and our many partners will do great things to advance security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific and beyond!
