This week, @HouseSmallBiz hosted the 3rd Annual Small Business Showcase! We kicked things off with remarks from @SBA_Kelly and @SpeakerJohnson, before I had the chance to share a few words about my work on the Committee and why supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs remains one of my top priorities. Small businesses came in from all across the country, from dog groomers, to candy makers, restaurateurs, bread makers, all sorts of businesses represented, including 5 from Texas! Events like this are a powerful reminder of why we must continue fighting for policies that help our local job creators grow and thrive.
I recently had the chance to meet Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. They gave me updates on how Cambodia is implementing a Reciprocal Trade Agreement with the United States. https://t.co/qRM28tt0qb
Earlier this week, I joined the Texas Business Leadership Council for a discussion on our work in Congress this year, upcoming priorities, and an update on USMCA. It was great to chat with many business leaders from across the Lone Star State, while they were visiting D.C.! https://t.co/2A0DzIcyAx

The American people should applaud every take down, every arrest, and every move that is being made by this Administration and our Republican Congress to attack the estimated $500 BILLION of fraud in our country. This isn't just stolen tax dollars from hardworking Americans. It's an attack on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and every American who actually needs these programs. @AmandaHead @jsolomonReports
This week, I joined my Texas House Republican colleagues in urging Congress to pass our resolution to ensure that Texas is never again subjected to the open-border lawlessness we endured for four years under the Biden administration. https://t.co/pCawQOlB2L
Texas-24 is home to many great companies serving as leaders in their fields, like @StandardAero. They are a leader in aviation maintenance and repair for both commercial and military jet engines. I recently had a chance to visit their facility at DFW, I previously visited in 2022, and it was great to see how much their capabilities have grown since then.
Great to connect with Connor, the North Texas manager for @AGCofTexas, to discuss the importance of infrastructure investment as North Texas continues to grow. https://t.co/PrvQqK7CVG
This week's Hometown Hero is Dr. Chandramallika Basak, a UT Dallas neuroscientist using video games and brain training to fight dementia and Alzheimer's disease. https://t.co/K81FtCvx1s
