I always enjoy seeing Texans in DC! Great meeting with the Texas Land Title Association in Washington. https://t.co/aBzyGvaOmA
The threats to our homeland are evolving, and our intelligence posture must keep pace. I led a @HomelandGOP Subcommittee markup that advanced seven bipartisan bills to reform the DHS's Office of Intelligence and Analysis. Read more @NextgovFCW here: https://t.co/N3HlnvgSpg
For the past year, a major focus of @HomelandGOP has been conducting oversight and learning as much as we can about the threat landscape ahead of major national events, including the World Cup, which is just a few short weeks away. That's why I led a markup to advance seven bipartisan bills, including my I&A Mission Reorientation Act, to refocus I&A's mission and improve efficiency, training, and oversight. Watch my full opening remarks:

This National Police Week, I was honored to co-led a roundtable with @AustinScottGA08 and @HouseIntel Chairman @RepRickCrawford to hear directly from law enforcement and intelligence communities about the ways we can better support their missions. As our nation prepares to host the FIFA World Cup in just a few weeks, @HomelandGOP is ensuring every level of law enforcement is tasked to secure the homeland.

I just voted in favor of @RepFitzgerald's Keeping Violent Offenders Off Our Streets Act. For years, radical bail activists have operated with little oversight, forcing communities and law enforcement to deal with the consequences. This bill closes a dangerous loophole that has allowed charitable bail funds to help secure the release of violent offenders. Political organizations should never be allowed to gamble with the safety of American families.
Huge thank you to @DAGToddBlanche for joining us at this week's @RepublicanStudy Committee meeting. His leadership in carrying out President Trump's War on Fraud and restoring law and order is exactly what this moment demands. We will continue working tirelessly alongside this administration to deliver results for the American people!
