This is exactly the kind of rapid response Florida delivers after a storm. Grateful for @FLSERT and @FLGuard delivering critical aid to Floridians impacted by Isaias.
Latest update from @GovRonDeSantis:
Help is available for Northwest Floridians impacted by Hurricane Isaias. @Walmart and Matthew 25 Ministries are providing free laundry services, mobile showers, restrooms, and essential hygiene products to those in need.
The resilience of the people in the Panhandle is incredible. We have seen Floridians stepping up to help neighbors, friends and even complete strangers. This is who we are as a state. I could not be prouder of the hurricane relief efforts after Isaias. https://t.co/Ph5dd0MzBO
Isaias wreaked havoc on Florida’s Gulf Coast, but Floridians are resilient. Grateful for the linemen and first responders who are working around the clock to help recovery efforts. We are working with state leaders to ensure these communities come back strong. https://t.co/dsdmR9W8A1
72 hours ago, @GovRonDeSantis and I stood at the Escambia County EOC urging Floridians in the path of #Isaias to evacuate or hunker down. Since then, I’ve traveled across the Panhandle assessing damage, meeting with local officials, and standing with Floridians facing the long road to recovery. To our law enforcement officers, emergency managers, linemen, and local leaders: Thank you for your tireless work. I’m proud of how Florida has responded, together—and we will keep working until our communities recover.
Floridians know that when a hurricane shuts down everything in town, @WaffleHouse is always there with hot coffee, a warm meal, and a sense of community. Thank you, Waffle House, for hosting @GovRonDeSantis and me today in Milton as we met with folks finding a little normalcy in the aftermath of #Isaias.
