To all those serving, including so many here on Long Island, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment to this country.

In Congress this week, I was proud to support and vote for the Cashless Bail Reporting Act and the Keeping Violent Offenders Off Our Streets Act, commonsense legislation the House passed to strengthen accountability, support our police, and help keep violent criminals off our streets.
As we wrap up National Police Week, I want to once again thank and recognize the brave men and women in uniform who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. I will continue to stand with and support law enforcement across the country and right here on Long Island.

I’m proud to stand with law enforcement and support the bipartisan Combating Organized Retail Crime Act. Organized retail crime hurts families, workers, and small businesses right here on Long Island. I was proud to vote to give law enforcement the tools they need to crack down on these criminal networks and keep our communities safe.
Congratulations to Kevin Warsh on his confirmation as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. I look forward to working with Chairman Warsh to strengthen our economy, stabilize prices, and keep the Fed focused on its core mission.
This National Police Week, we honor the brave men and women in law enforcement who put on the badge every day to keep our communities safe. On Long Island and across our country, we remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and thank all those who continue to serve with honor and integrity. To every officer, past and present, thank you.
