Today’s passage of year-round E15 is a major win for Kansas farmers, ethanol producers, and American energy independence. Expanding access to E15 gives consumers more choices at the pump, helps lower fuel costs, and strengthens rural economies across Kansas and the nation. Proud to support policies that put American agriculture and energy first.
Today, Exploration Place had the official grand opening of their incredible Adventure Playscape. With a focus on fun and growth, this space provides an opportunity for young Kansans to connect with STEM learning in an interactive environment and create excitement for careers that enhance our community. Exploration Place didn’t just build a park, they built a pipeline for our future.
As the Social Security Subcommittee Chairman, I am pleased to see these critical steps being taken to modernize the Social Security Administration. Americans deserve this level of efficiency. Read more here: https://t.co/itL4bdIDKd
Wichita is officially the home of the Cheyenne II! Yesterday, the @USArmy announced that the MV-75 FLRAA has been officially named the “Cheyenne II.” This name carries deep history, honoring the Cheyenne people and reviving a legacy of innovation that began with the AH-56 Cheyenne in the 1960s. With Bell’s arrival in Wichita, our state again demonstrates its world-class reputation as a leader in aviation and advanced manufacturing. Wichita will play a central role in delivering the most advanced technologies and capabilities to our Army aviators for years to come. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/3t6rs6j0wF
This #TaxDay, I’m proud that our work modernizing the federal tax system is rewarding hard work, protecting our seniors, and keeping Kansas industries strong. Instead of a system that grows the government, our tax code now focuses on common-sense policies that empower individuals and give our local businesses the tools they need to thrive. I made a promise to the 4th District to put the taxpayer ahead of the government, and I am proud to be delivering on that commitment. From providing long-term certainty for our aerospace manufacturers to ensuring families keep more of what they earn, these updates are about more than just a refund—they are about building a more prosperous future for every Kansan. Check out my latest op-ed in The Daily Signal on why these reforms matter for you and your family ⬇️ https://t.co/GwoHOmIgVY
Happy Easter! Today is a beautiful day to gather with family and friends to celebrate the blessings of the season and the promise of new life through Jesus Christ. Wishing everyone a joyful Sunday filled with faith, hope and community.
@NASAArtemis will make history tomorrow, April 1, with their Artemis II. As the co-chair of the House Aerospace Caucus, I wish the crew a safe and successful journey as we countdown the hours and minutes until the launch. This 10-day mission will send 4 brave astronauts around the Moon to test the Orion spacecraft’s systems for the first time with humans aboard. This is a critical step in our return to deep space and a testament to our incredible aerospace workforce.
This passage is an important step forward in ensuring our nation’s security. By advancing the appropriations amendment, we are fully funding DHS, ICE, and the frontline personnel who work every day to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. This legislation now returns to the Senate. Our law enforcement officers and border security professionals deserve the resources and support needed to do their jobs effectively every day. I will continue working to ensure they have exactly that.
If you are stuck in a long TSA line this week, look to the Democrats in Washington to thank. Their refusal to prioritize sensible funding is the sole reason for the travel delays. I am committed to keeping our country safe and our infrastructure running smoothly, which is why I have voted TWICE now to provide the necessary funding for DHS, and will continue to do so. Enough is enough. We must fund DHS and get Americans moving again.
Yesterday, I joined Americans for Tax Reform to discuss the economic damage and overall cost of foreign Digital Services Taxes on U.S. businesses. I have always believed American innovation is the powerhouse of the world – which is why I championed the fight against DST’s starting in 2017, when discriminatory digital taxes first threatened American innovation. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Sinclair Davidson for his dedication and research on the real economic damage these taxes inflict on U.S. innovators. Thank you to all that took part in this vital discussion.
