God bless the service members who carried out this operation. Our nation and the world are safer today because of their bravery. And thank you, @POTUS for your decisive leadership. The American people are fortunate to have you at the helm. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/eIpTzzeZYM
The Senate MUST pass the SAVE America Act today. Anyone blocking that effort needs to step aside. Yes, that includes @LeaderJohnThune. Our base entrusted us with these jobs and the profound responsibility to secure our elections. We made a promise to our voters, and it’s time to keep it.
Democrats in Virginia are literally trying to rewrite their state constitution to secure power in Congress. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans won’t even bring the SAVE America Act - supported by over 81% of Americans - to the floor for a vote. The cowardice and failure to lead on this are simply inexcusable. https://t.co/QOcKple42r
Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife, Chelsea — the best mom to our two boys, Guy and Sam. And to all the incredible mothers across Tennessee, thank you for everything you do. Wishing you a wonderful day! https://t.co/AxFT5zEukv
Democrats are betting on @LeaderJohnThune and @SenMcConnell’s inaction to slow-walk the President’s agenda, retake the House and Senate, and pack the Supreme Court and abolish the Electoral College. It’s a betrayal beyond measure. https://t.co/BX7KPiFsAc
Prove your citizenship to register to vote and bring a photo ID to the polls. The vast majority of us agree: that's reasonable. Call your Senators today. Let’s END the filibuster and send the SAVE America Act to President Trump’s desk. https://t.co/nq47iiKckO
I’m blessed to represent Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District in Congress, solely because of those I get to serve. I will never stop listening to those issues which keep you up at night. Even if we happen to disagree on an issue, I will always hear you out. That’s what I expect from my elected officials.
George Washington envisioned a citizen legislature, made up of Members of Congress who were accessible to those they represent. That’s been my goal since you first sent me to Washington – and I will continue to listen to you until the job is done. Thank you to the good folks of Fentress County for coming out for a town hall this morning!
I've said it once, and I'll say it again: our GOP base should NOT have to beg Republican senators to pass something as critical as the SAVE America Act. This inaction will cost our country dearly.
The Democrats are planning to shut down DHS again this October, right before the November midterms — in a calculated effort to hurt Republicans politically. These people are shameless – and there's NOTHING they won't do or there's NO ONE they won't use – including TSA workers – to gain power. That is the opposition we're facing. It's past time for Republicans to start governing like a majority, or we’ll lose it in a couple months.
